District units being constituted across Tamil Nadu

The Youth Wing works at three levels — state, district and local units. Over the past weeks the state office has been constituting district teams so that every one of Tamil Nadu's 38 districts has its own office bearers.

What district teams do

• Welcome new members and help families register in the eCensus.
• Review and approve registrations from their district — only they can see their district's members.
• Organise service programmes: blood donation camps, annadhanam, education support and cultural events.
• Report their activities to the state team so good work can be shared and repeated.

Office bearers on the platform

District office bearers are recorded as postings in the eDirectory. A posting gives exactly the access a role needs — a district president can approve registrations in their own district, but not elsewhere. When a term ends, the posting is closed and access stops automatically. The Leaders page lists each district's office bearers as soon as they are recorded.

Want to serve?

If you would like to serve in your district, register in the eCensus and speak to your district president, or write to the state office from the Contact page.
